More 70's anyone?

I'm baaaack. More seventies stuff, baby.

The reps at the ad agency stayed up extra late trying to find a way to make these suits look cool. And it almost worked.

Really ladies? You're that peeved about not having better copy machines in your office? Guess who's gonna have to figure the damn things out . . . Nice signs though. I like the lady in the front—she's kind of fierce.

And now we know what the Burger King guy does when he's not making all those commercials. Go on, you smooth devil you.

I can't decide which shade of beige I like the best. Does anyone else get the feeling there was an orgy after the photo shoot? Dammit!

I remember the days of tanning like this. Okay, I just burned and got freckles. Nice promise in the ad though. How gullible were we back then?!

Oh! I know . . . How about you just wash your hair more often?

Guess I was too young, because I but don't remember the shampoo. But I like the ad and adore anything sunny and lemony. I'd totally buy this!

Gee, I don't know what to say. You look so hot in your matching undies and t-shirt thing there. And you're right, it does distract me from looking at . . . um. Wow.

  1. That was super, Amy! I can remember getting Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific as a special treat when I was 12 or 13 which was in the late 70's. I love your comments with each picture. Thanks for making me laugh. :) I'm totally going to get my hubby some yellow underwear and matching undershirts. Hot, Hot, Hot...

  2. 'Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific' is a great name. Did it do what it said on the box? I believe there used to be an ad' for Australian beer that said 'X's beer gets you drunk'. Honesty in advertising is rare.

    Bisou, Cro.

  3. The top lot look like a pair of Oasis'. The Australians had an 'Easy-Start' ethanol spray for cars called 'Start, Yer Bastard!' I'm told this is true, but they use that word affectionately down under.

  4. I wish they still made that shampoo Cro. I would buy it!

The top guys are actually really cool looking.

As for the underwear ad, you have to click on the picture to see ALL the designs. They're hilarious!

I remember the days of tanning. Lying out in the sun with Johnson's Baby Oil, frying. Gah!
