Something ain't right here . . .

Well, I've been hacked. Spammed. Virused. Here on the blogger apparently, and on twitter. I don't even want to know the horrible tweets some spambot was sending out under my name, but I do have a sense of humor about it and can laugh at how absurd it is. Not sure what I did to start the whole thing, but I'll fix it somehow. I already closed down my twitter account. And now that I've shut it down it feels kind of a relief to not have to deal with that stuff anymore. Do you we really need to know who's doing what every second of the day? I loved re-tweeting friends' book announcements and good news, but other than that it was just a big popularity contest of who could be the wittiest or the most friendly twitterer. It was like high school, man.

So, I'm out twitter. Sayonara. Adios. And as for google blogs here, I don't know. I'll find your little virus and squash it somehow.

  1. I couldn't open your 'Tear Jerker' posting (elephants?), as my machine went into PANIC mode! Is that what you're talking about? I think it happened with another one too.

Why do people spend so much time trying to bugger up other people's machines.

  7. Jessica, it started on Friday afternoon when I received an email from a local art institute about a picture I should open. I tried to open it and I think that's when my account went wacko. After closing it down, it reactivated yesterday without my consent. Scary. Please don't open anything my twitter is sending out. I'm getting plenty pissed about this whole business, and I regret that any of my friends are being hacked as well.

  8. Oh no, that sucks. I noticed a few spammy massages from you on Twitter, but I figured it wasn't you so I didn't open them. This has happened to quite a few people I know on Twitter. Hugs!

  9. Your poor thing! So crappy! I saw you on my twitter but I figured it was spam so I ignored it! Sorry for all the problems! So awful!! Just know you're not alone, lately it seems to be a going trend... though saying that out loud doesn't sound good.
