Saw this ad in an old magazine and thought it was looked just like Emma and William in a scene from the upcoming book, The Love Seekers. She's gone back to see him, or has she really? Maybe she's merely dreaming, of a time that is theirs alone . . . It's 1960-something, Greenwich Village, the wailing, soulful voice of Dylan is in the air, Kennedy is still alive, and there's love, love, love.

  1. The early 60's sound like an innocent time, but I was there and it wasn't. We were all afraid that Russia would bomb us, civil rights were not even thought of by white America, women found jobs in the paper under "help wanted- female" for half what men were making, and I was a very, very naive teenager. I am no longer naive, but most of the other things still exist. The nice thing, though, is that there was and still is love, love, love in the air, only it is more temporary.

I am hoping, Amy, that this new book will bring you praise and financial gain. It sound very good.

    1. I hope so too, but mostly it was fun to write. It's hard to believe that I finished the first draft two years ago, right around spring break.

  2. I love the photo, it takes me back to my time living in rented flats in London. A couple of pictures, some books, and a few clothes. However, in those days I didn't have the small portable TV, or the beautiful blonde girlfriend.

    1. Well, that makes a big difference! No, the flat alone would be so cool.
