I feel all sepia today. Really should be cleaning, but I'm distracting myself with stupid things like this.
This is how I usually dress. Tank top and skirt or sweats. My hair's up in a bun because it's really thick and I need to style it.
A close-up. My freckles are really showing.
From freckles to polka dots.
Me, looking slightly Victorian.
Lace and . . .
my curry skirt.
Hair's done. But I need to clean the mirror! My kids fling every bit of water on it and I'm sick of cleaning!!!! But I will do it eventually . . .
One of my favorite dresses in black and white. I love the pattern because it reminds me of the sixties.
And that's it. Windex, here I come.
Get on with that cleaning Amy, and stop playing with your camera! On the other hand, don't; pictures of you are much more interesting that pictures of a clean mirror!
ReplyDeleteIt is fun! And perhaps the smudged mirror acts as a good filter, like the kind they used in old movies for close-ups.
DeleteHow on earth, while distracting the observer with polka dots and patterns, do girls grow these long graceful necks? As a husband and father, I've witnessed this time and again but confess myself baffled.
ReplyDelete: ) Well, not sure. But sometimes when I turn my head I get that awful tendon pain, like someone's socked me in the neck. Always wondered if girls with shorter necks experience the same thing.
DeleteYou look lovely, Amy. We in the deep freeze are layering up and bulking up.
ReplyDeleteSame here. It's so cold! Then add four new inches of snow this morning. The snow's pretty, but I think I want to hibernate until spring!
DeleteOh Amy, I love this dreamy post! Happy new year, my friend.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Karen! Happy New Year to you as well!
